Its like the Olympics of turntablism!!
The DMC DJ Championships kick off tomorrow, beginning this year’s hunt for Australia’s top wax-slinger, with the winner of course taking their crate and sleeve-load of tricks to the World Finals.
Head along to catch the finals in your state (see dates and venues below) as this is your chance to see the cream of local DJ talent AND you get to take home a little memento of the occasion too with every punter getting a free mix-tape whipped together by Australia’s two times reining DMC champ DJ Perplex. Check his skills in this vid of last year’s winning set.
This year’s competition kicks off tomorrow night (Thursday 17th of July) at The Gaelic Club in Sydney for the NSW Finals.

The lads are playing 5 nights straight at the Sandringham Hotel in Sydney from the Tues 22nd thru to Sat 26th July so if you’re in town you’d best be getting on down!!
